Cinnamon Pecan Pull-Aparts

 

Ingredients

    3/4 cup pecan halves

    25 ounces frozen yeast roll dough, unthawed

    3/4 cup butter, melted (1 1/2 sticks)

    1 3.5-ounce package cook-and-serve vanilla pudding mix (not instant)

    3/4 cup brown sugar

    1/3 cup white sugar

    2 tsp cinnamon

 

Instructions

    1. Butter a bundt or tube pan well. Sprinkle pecan halves over the bottom of the pan.

    2. Place frozen rolls over pecans. Drizzle the butter over the rolls.

    3. Combime the vanilla pudding mix, sugars and cinnamon in a medium bowl and sprinkle over the rolls.

    4. Let rise overnight. Do NOT cover - cake will rise above the pan.

    5. In the morning, place pan in a heated 350-degree oven and bake for 25 minutes.

    6. Invert onto a large platter and serve.

 

Yield

Makes 12 servings.

Dave's Pepperoni Cheese Loaf

 

Ingredients

    1 loaf frozen bread dough

    1 egg, beaten

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    3 ounces sliced pepperoni

    2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

    1/2 tsp. dried oregano

    spaghetti or marinara sauce

 

Instructions

    1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

    2. Roll bread into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

    3. Combine egg and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl. Spread over dough.

    4. Layer pepperoni, then mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with oregano.

    5. Roll up jellyroll style into a small loaf.

    6. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.

    7. Warm spaghetti or marinara sauce in saucepan over medium heat.

    8. Slice loaf into wedges and serve with sauce.

Monkey Bread

 

Ingredients

        4 cans biscuits (10 each)

        1/2 cup pecans, ground fine

        1 Tbsp. cimmamon

        3/4 cups sugar

    Topping:

        1 cup sugar

        1 Tbsp cinnamon

        3/4 cup melted margarine

 

Instructions

    1. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.

    2. Roll each piece in the mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and pecans.

    3. Place in large buttered tube pan

    4. Pour the topping mixture over the biscuits

    5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

 

Raisin Bran Muffins

 

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

    3 tsp baking powder

    1/2 tsp salt

    1/2 cup sugar

    3 cups Raisin Bran

    1 1/4 cups milk

    1 egg

    1/2 cup soft shortening or vegetable oil

Instructions

    1. Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside.

    2. Measure Raisin Bran and milk into bowl. Stir. Let stand 1-2 minutes or until cereal is softened. Add egg and shortening. Beat well.

    3. Add dry ingredients to cereal mix, stirring only until combined.

    4. Spoon into 12 greased muffin cups.

    5. Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Pizza Sticks

 

Ingredients

    1 11 oz can Pillsbury Soft Breadsticks

    24 thin Pepperoni slices (1 1/2-in diameter)

    2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

    1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    1/4 tsp garlic powder

    1/2 cup pizza sauce, heated

Instructions

    1. Separate and unroll breadsticks.

    2. Place 3 pepperoni slices in single layer over one halp of each breadstick.

    3. Fold remaining half of breadstick over top, seal end and twist.

    4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    5. Combine cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Sprinkle evenly over each.

    6. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

 

Serve with pizza sauce.
